Chicago Festival
Hi Everyone,
Last time I mentioned that I was selected to a prestigious comedy festival in Chicago. It was better than expected!
I performed at 4 venues August 7th + 8th:
Lincoln lodge - This was such a cool place with 3 stages in old world décor. I met the festival organizers for the 1st time: Ariel, Bob, Rebecca & Queeny - they made me feel at home right away.
Annoyance Theater - The crowd was great with 100+. This place had a classic ramped backstage entry just like you see on Netflix comedy specials.
The Second City - I was awestruck walking through this building, with multiple theaters/ levels. The halls were lined with famous alumni including SNL cast members, actors and comedians. I was honored to once again be part of an amazing lineup of comedians from all over the country.
Zanies Chicago - not part of the festival, but a club at which I had always wanted to perform. A charming old school club, comedians enter through an alley & then via the kitchen into the club. The walls are filled with pictures of famous comedians - Jay Leno, Seinfeld, etc. I was thrilled to get booked here.
